Welcome to StudoPeer. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Studopeer is a peer-to-peer directory that helps students contact other students who have experience with specific teachers. We facilitate connections; we do not validate or endorse any user, listing, rating, or advice provided by users.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use StudoPeer. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Content

You are solely responsible for information you submit, including contact details, teacher selections, and ratings (“User Content”). You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or abusive content, and not to harass or spam other users. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.

4. Sharing of Contact Information

When you participate (offer to help for a teacher), your phone number may be revealed to other users who unlock your listing for that teacher. Do not provide information you are not comfortable sharing with other users. We are not responsible for how other users choose to use the information they obtain via the platform.

5. No Warranties; No Professional Advice

The service and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service or user content. Any reliance on user content is at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudoPeer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, reputation, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Studopeer harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service or your User Content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access anytime for any reason, including violations of these Terms or suspected abuse.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Quebec.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
